Electric Stove Tops

I have been a long time cook for many many years now.  I’ve been the designated chef at home at I could say that I’ve seen them all.  Gas stoves, electric stove tops of all shapes and sizes.  People have asked me what I prefer and I always say neither.  That was till the day I got one of those electric stove tops.  I know, I know, it is not the most conventional way to cook but it eliminated my biggest pet peeve when using stoves.  Here is a short article that I was able to compile after getting one of the electric stove tops. As I said above, my biggest pet peeve before when cooking was the task afterward, the act of cleaning those dirty old things.  Gone were the days of having to take apart the whole range to get to the small bits and pieces that pop out of your cooking.  Now with my new electric stove top which is made of glass, cleaning has been reduced to a few minutes of wiping it with some handy dandy scrubbing sponge.  No need for special instruments.  It’s just so easy that I can’t ever think of going back to the old way of pulling the drip pans, scrubbing  forcibly the burnt food then waiting for agonizing minutes for everything to soak and dry.

I also personally like the way that the glass top gives a sense of elegance to my kitchen.  I got the dark glass top and the strong lines on it really makes my kitchen look more modern and chic! Lastly, I really like the added feature of the red light that indicates that the burners of the stove are still hot.  This is great so that I won’t accidentally burn anything, like my hand, since I know that it is still hot.

Add all these up and those are the reasons why I just love my electric stove tops.  Make that my electric stove with a glass top.  It just works wonders for me! I hope that it will bring as much joy to you as well!
